Lalan looked around for Aysel. She stood a few feet away, slightly smiling. Lalan offered his hand, Aysel stepped forward, she took her brother's hand and let him lead her to me. I smiled, noticing she was a bit shy.

"Hello, I'm guessing your Aysel, my younger twin sister." I said, offering my hand. "My name is Ya'el."

Aysel took my hand shyly. "Hello, Ya'el." Aysel said she turned to Lalan. "Where's Gunner?"  She asked.

I also had the question in my head, I could see now why she remembered and asked first.

"He should arrive in a couple hours; he went to get his horse, his sword, and hopefully my bow." Lalan smiled.

Lalan then noticed the prince, standing with his army. "Prince Faramund, I've heard about you." Lalan said, bowing slightly.

Faramund returned the bow. He felt out of place with all the elves standing around. Though he knew he had his army of men behind him, and ready do to anything at his command. He waved to them, and his army turned and walked back to the castle. Faramund walked to me, he smiled.

"Well, I'm glad to see you have your family. But you still have a commitment to my father." He said, almost chuckling.

I sighed. "Your right, I guess I should go back, may I have permission to keep Noble One? Or maybe use one of the horses from Linwood Forest, I could live here but still be a messenger there." I asked.

Faramund smiled. "I'm sure my father will allow you to stay here."

"NO!" King Boris yelled, "She is not allowed to live in the Linwood Forest, just because you found your family doesn't mean you can live there, and still work here!" Boris said, slamming his fist down on his chair.

I jumped and so did Faramund, he and I looked at each other. I could tell he had a look on his face that said: I disagree with him; I will make sure you live in the Linwood Forest. I smiled slightly, and walked out of throne room, with the King yelling at me to spot. I decided to go to the stables, and go for a ride on Noble One. As I left the throne room, I could hear Faramund and Boris arguing at each other. I couldn't help but listen.

"Why not?" Faramund asked his father.

"Because, I made her my servant, and she will stay that way, I don't care if you said she was stolen by Nagendra, and then escaped with her brother and Gunner!" Boris yelled, she stood up and exited the throne room yelling."When your king, maybe, just maybe I'll allow you to let her go!" With that Boris slammed the door behind him.

I ran to the stables, I quickly opened Noble's gate, jumped on his back, and galloped out, with tears in my eyes.

Faramund hurried to the stable's knowing I was going there. He saddled Aida, and galloped out, glancing at Noble One's stall. Seeing he wasn't there, I spurred Aida on the thigh, she ran faster. Faramund wanted to find me, now knowing that elves are very fast, he wanted to find me before I did anything stupid.

I stopped Noble at the foot of Boris Mountain, I ran up, knowing Ugne wasn't there, I could be alone. As I reached the top I grabbed my necklace, tore it off my neck, and looked at it. I ran my forefinger over the star, and then the wind pushed my hood off my head. As soon as my hood came off my head, I saw an eye appear in the clouds, the winds kicked up and I fell to my knees, my necklace dropped to the ground from my hands.

In the Forest, Lalan could feel something was wrong, the wolves could feel it to. Lalan jumped on his horse, and galloped out of the forest, with Storm Chaser and Maker following him close behind. His horse could sense something also, Lalan came out of the forest, and he could already see my dark figure on the Mountain. Lalan reached the top of the mountain before Faramund, but as he reached the top, I was nowhere in sight, Faramund ran up behind him. Lalan ran to the edge of the mountain, he looked down, only to see the rocky side of the mountain, with a lake at the bottom. Faramund caught a glimpse of a shiny object on the ground; he picked it up and handed it to Lalan.

Lalan looked at it, shocked. "Ya'el's necklace." He held against his chest, clenching it in his palm.

Noble One felt me close somewhere; he galloped to the lake, on the other side of Boris Mountain.

My bones ached from my fall; my cloak soaked with water, blood ran down my head, stones, rocks, and water all around me. My eyes opened I looked up the sky, searching for the Eye, to which I did not find.

Noble One walked to me, he carefully placed each hoof on the rocks, making sure not to fall. He got on his knees, and nuzzled me. I reached for his nose, and touched it; the warmth of his nose was all I needed to pull through this pain. I grabbed his neck with both hands, and pulled myself up. With his help Noble One stood, and I stood looking into his face, my eyes were blurry, I leaned my head against his. Closed my eyes, and prayed.

Lalan dropped to his knees, tears came down his face, Faramund kneeled next to Lalan, putting his arm around him. He never really understood elves, until now. Nor did he really like me, until I was gone.

"You never know how something is worth, until it's gone." Faramund said, in low sad tone.

Lalan knew by Faramund's words that he liked me. "True words, wise heart." Lalan said, "Why would she do this?" He asked, not really expecting an answer from Faramund.

"Maybe it's because my father said she couldn't live in Linwood Forest, he said that he made Ya'el his servant and she will stay that way."

Lalan sighed; he stood up, still holding my necklace.

"He also said that when I'm king, he might allow me to free Ya'el." Faramund stood his hand on Lalan's shoulder. "And that's just what I'll do, but for now, we look for her." Faramund walked to the edge. "You know, this edge is so steep that someone could fall if their careful.

Lalan looked over at the edge. He and Faramund exchanged glances, and nods. They both ran down the Mountain, Lalan saw that Noble One was not where he had last saw him. He whistled softly, knowing that if Noble One left, I wasn't too far away for Noble to sense me.

I took my head off Noble's, blood stained his pure black head, I heard whistling out of nowhere, and I whistled a nice tone. I couldn't stand any longer, nor hold myself up with my hands holding onto Noble's neck. I fell to the ground again; my whole body felt like it was going to break. I closed my eyes, but I didn't fall asleep, I just couldn't wake up.

Lalan heard my whistle, he ran to where he thought my whistle came from.  Faramund ran after him, Lalan with the quickness of his feet, arrived first, he stopped and looked around, he then saw Noble One standing over me, I lay on the rocks unknowing that Lalan and Faramund were picking me up. Faramund held me, and Lalan coaxed Noble to follow him, for Faramund still had no idea how to control a horse without its bridle.
